1) Who are you and how would you describe your art style?
(a) I'm meron, 24 years old and a self-taught manga/comic artist. I'm slowly working on my old manga magazine project.
(b) My artstyle is pen/ink, semi-realism and oftentimes cartoons to relieve stress.
2) Has your art style changed over time and if yes, how?
No, only a little upgrade on hatching and line art understanding.
3) When in a creative block, what helps you get started again?
Doodling and watching art related content videos helps me to reduce stress while still gaining art knowledge. Having a discord call with an art friend is also great too.
4) Have you ever had any negative comments on your work, and how did you overcome it?
Yes. If it's just comments, I'll ignore them. But for art critiques, I always take notes so I can improve better and faster.
5) If you could go back in time to spend a day with your favorite artist, who would it be and what would you do together?
kentaro miura, takehiko inoue, boichi and Kim Jung Gi. I'll spend many years in their art class if there's any till there's nothing left to study.
*Reviews weird/cursed manga scenes with them*
6) If your artworks are a type of music, what would it be and how would it sound like?
Medieval theme or old music.
7) If you knew you had one last chance to express yourself creatively, what would be the message you want to say?
Art is not easy but you are always welcome to try.
