1) Who are you? What do you do?
I am Wafiy Budin and I love art and singing. My love for art started way back in primary school but I didn't get the chance to learn about it until the year 2021, where I started to get back on art once more by joining world environment day and makes my 1st ever flower sculpture made of recycled materials.Im a self taught artist . I didn't go to an art school or even have any certificates that is based on art courses. Everything is just off my pure interest and it eventually became a hobby of mine. Nowadays, I am still learning and also doing my best on improving my ability in making digital art.
2) How have your life experiences influenced your aesthetic style?
My biggest inspiration and influence is our local artis Zati Rahman ,when i first met her she gave me an opportunity to make my 1st sculpture for world environment day in 2021 , she gave me help and support . At that time i wanted to pursue my dream to became an artis . I also joined the drawing club and meets our local artists and learned more about art
3) “What did you have to develop, try or learn to create your works?”
I learn digital art by watching youtube,tiktok and others social medias for tips on how to make my art batter and i also ask for help from my family and friends.
4) Describe your dream project
My dream Project is to make a beautiful,cool and cute digital illustrations like other local and international artists
5) What advice would you give to your younger self?
I wanna tell to my younger self to not ever waste the time and also the talent that he had. Do not hesitate to do whatever that made him happy and don't let anything stops him. As time passes by, he doesn't know how much he could've done with his passion.
