1) Tell us about yourself and do you have any other creative avenues?

My name is Yasmin Lee, quite inspired by the Marvel creator, Stan Lee. I am a multidisciplinary artist, who specializes in various mediums such as digital art, including illustrations and comics, dioramas, and designing rooms. I like to explore different avenues of creativity, and I find that having a diverse skillset allows me to bring a unique perspective to my work. I'm always looking for new ways to express myself and expand my creative horizons.

2) Was there a defining moment in your life when you knew you wanted to be an artist?

I had a defining moment when I knew I wanted to be an artist. I fell in love with art as a child, when I discovered a passion for drawing and creating my own characters. I remember being fascinated by the power of art to tell stories, express emotions, and transport people to different worlds. As I grew older, I continued to develop my skills and explore new mediums, which ultimately led me to become a multidisciplinary artist.

3) What would you say are your strongest abilities that contribute to your work?

As a multidisciplinary artist, I likely have a wide range of skills and talents that contribute to my work. For example, in creating digital art, I might have excellent visual design skills, color theory knowledge, and a knack for creating engaging illustrations and comics. In dioramas, my attention to detail, creativity, and ability to design and assemble three-dimensional scenes could be my greatest strengths. It's important to identify and acknowledge my strengths as an artist, as they can enable me to showcase my talents and create innovative, impactful work.

4) If you could study with an artist from the past and present, who would it be and why?

It would be Stan Lee, I would love to study under him and become one of his proteges to make more comics. For the dioramas, there are artists on Youtube I was very much inspired by for example Nerdforge, Studson Studio, and Hanabira, these are some of the few artists I looked up to because they built many unique and detailed dioramas.

5) What is the best piece of advice that was given to you that you would like to pass along to others?

Everyone has a light inside of them, and it's just a matter of time before they can all shine and demonstrate their abilities to others. It was from a lecturer but I tweaked it a little, haha

6) Through your creativity, what kind of impact do you hope to achieve in today’s society?

I hope to bring out the people's creativity and not to be stuck by the limitations.
