1) Tell us about yourself and what you do.

I used to be a traditional artist, but recently I've started to enjoy the digital medium. I like drawing portraits, fan illustrations, and other things. As a kid, I usually observed cartoon and movie characters to try to capture their appearances and expressions and attempt to draw them on a piece of paper. As I grow older, I began to take art more seriously and set specific goals that I can reach in the future.

2) What do you intend for people to see or feel when they view your work?

I want the colors and face expression in my artwork to generate a feeling of emotion. As emotions help us to communicate better with others.

3) Which artist do you admire and why?

Since I started reading manga, I have admired a few manga artists such as Kentaro Miura, Takehiko Inoue, Tite Kubo, Yusuke Murata, and most recently Tatsuki Fujimoto. The way they created the expressive character designs and the surroundings and scenery they lived in, inspired me to make my own art pieces that would one day look to be just as inspirational as theirs.

4) Tell us about the first piece of art you have created.

While my first art piece was nothing special as it was a poorly drawn character based on my imagination with zero consideration to the fundamentals, it does still serve as a reminder on how far I have grown from it.

5) What is the one medium/tool you can’t live without?

I've picked digital art as my preferred medium, and I couldn't picture choosing anything else. It's very convenient for me since all the tools and colors are accessible through a single app. Before, for me to even draw or paint, all of things had to be bought separately.

6) How would you define success as an artist?

For me, success means that I have used all my capabilities to the fullest and devoting all my time and energy into making that art piece.
