Community drawing sessions are a dynamic and inclusive space where artists of all levels come together to unleash their creativity and connect with like-minded individuals. These sessions provide an opportunity to draw freely while fostering a sense of community and collaboration. 

Every session since we started in 2012 has always been and will always be a different and unique experience.  

Since 2021,  our community sessions have been conducted both live and virtually. In a post-pandemic world, community drawing sessions have emerged as a vital and rejuvenating space for artists to connect, revitalize their creativity, and rebuild a sense of community. These sessions offer a much-needed opportunity for individuals to come together in person, after a period of isolation and virtual interactions. 

With the return to physical gatherings, community drawing sessions have become a haven where artists can once again share their passion, engage in artistic dialogue, and find inspiration through real-time interactions. These sessions provide a tangible sense of connection, allowing artists to feed off each other’s energy, exchange ideas, and foster a supportive and collaborative environment.

LIVE / IN-PERSON SESSIONS

Our live and in-person sessions bring artists and like-minded individuals together in the cozy ambiance of cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, and community spaces to share their love and passion for art, food, and the joy of connecting with others.

These sessions also aim to support local businesses' growth and sustainability as well as promote their spaces as artistic hubs as well and foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie in our community. It is an opportunity to step away from solitary art studios and engage with fellow artists in a social setting. 

Artists are encouraged to bring their preferred tools, whether it be sketchbooks, watercolors, or digital devices. The diversity of artistic expressions sparks inspiration and curiosity, as artists share their techniques, tips, and stories, creating an environment that fosters collaboration, growth, and learning. This collaborative spirit not only enriches the individual artists’ experiences but in turn, enhances the cultural and artistic landscape of our community.

VIRTUAL SESSIONS

Born during the challenging times of the pandemic, this community initiative has continued to flourish providing a sense of connection, inspiration, and a newfound sense of normalcy. 

Discord serves as our digital canvas, as we gather in virtual art studios, chat and game rooms, and voice channels, transcending boundaries and allowing us to connect from the comfort of our own homes. The heart of these virtual sessions lies in the shared experience of drawing together and playing online drawing games. 

This platform has also provided an alternative during the pandemic but also unexpected benefits. We are now able to connect and collaborate, transcending geographic limitations and cultural boundaries.
